We offer permanent modification for most standard capacity magazines which will limit their capacity to only 10 rounds.  This is commonly known as "magazine pinning" allows Connecticut residents to purchase an otherwise legal firearm with a magazine capable of holding greater than 10 rounds and have it permanently modified to limit it to hold only 10 rounds. You can select this option below either as an add-on to FFL transfers (for firearms purchased elsewhere and performed by Swamp Yankee Firearms) or as a stand-alone option for firearms purchased from Swamp Yankee Firearms.  Please be aware that this is a permanent modification and cannot be undone.  Even though it is referred to as "pinning", Swamp Yankee Firearms does not use the old method of metal pins or unsightly rivits to accomplish this.  We use high-tech epoxies and 3D printed blocks to limit the magazine capacity internally leaving the magazine looking like factory new.  PLEASE NOTE that any firearm receiving custom work such as magazine limiting, magazine locking, stock pinning must be picked up in Milford, CT or we can arrange shipping to your local FFL at an additional cost.
