The Naval Special Warfare II Edition Ruger 9mm SR1911 Commander features a polished black PVD coated slide with special chevron serrations. PVD is four times harder than chrome making it corrosion and scatch resistant. The rear pannels feature the Navy Seal Foundation and Ruger logos. Grips are a special grey G-10 material featuring the Ruger logo over the chevron stripes.  The firearm has special factory serial numbers, beginning with "NSW".
